Eric Dawson is the founder of inLeadership, driven by a deep commitment to helping individuals to maximize their potential as human-centered leaders. He believes leadership is more than a title—it's the ability to inspire others to follow and become the best version of themselves. Effective leadership begins with mastering oneself, as who we are at our core ultimately shapes how we lead.

 

With extensive experience across diverse industries—including biopharma, medical devices, and insurance—and a President and COO role in a global beauty company, Eric has observed firsthand how the rollercoaster of emotions, personalities, and challenges shape behaviors, decisions, and outcomes.

 

Eric is committed to personal and professional development, having pursued executive and advanced studies in executive leadership, business psychology, organizational behavior, performance psychology, the science of personality, behavioral change, strategic influence, negotiation, and social & emotional Intelligence. Eric holds a Master's in Business Psychology, is a trained leadership and performance coach through Brown University, and holds multiple certifications, including from the Center for Credentialing & Education, International Coaching Federation, Institute for Social & Emotional Intelligence, and Hogan Assessments Systems.

Eric partners with individuals to help them realize who they are and what drives certain behaviors, evolve as leaders, and perform at their highest level. His approach is built on a genuine intention to help each person succeed and find fulfillment personally and at work, along with a disciplined approach to effectively choosing and exhibiting the leadership behaviors appropriate for the individual and the context.

 

His focus is on maximizing potential by having a strong understanding of peoples Personal Leadership—mastering oneself, including character strengths, beliefs, emotions, motivators, values, and relationships. Leadership Style—understanding strengths and behaviors and knowing when to appropriately leverage these to impact positive business outcomes. Leadership Fitness—strengthening leadership capacities necessary to navigate and thrive in the challenging and demanding environment of leadership.

 

By tailoring his coaching to each individual's unique needs and values, Eric helps individuals navigate challenges, enhance performance, and foster well-being—for themselves, their teams, and their organizations.
